6 Scenic Day Drives near Raleigh for the last of the Fall color

One of the best things about living in the Raleigh area is the number of easy weekend driving destinations we have near us. From Raleigh a trip to the mountains, or the coast, is within 2-3 hours drive. If you are looking for a destination within 40 minutes to see the last of the Fall color, I've got a few recommendations. We recently went for a drive out to Saxapahaw, NC and spent the afternoon exploring the NC countryside. With cooler temps and leaf color in its prime, a Saturday or Sunday afternoon can be great for getting out of the city or suburbs and enjoying a scenic drive. I am continuing my partnership this Fall with Cameron Village and Jaguar Land Rover Cary and they recently provided me with a 2017 Range Rover to test drive for a day. NC Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Delivered to the Door - The Produce Box

One of the best things about summer is fresh delicious local produce! I have a fruit/vegetable stand nearby but it is limited and getting to the Farmer's Market is not always easy to do with busy schedules. I prefer to buy from local farms and sometimes options are limited (and expensive) at my local grocery stores. Last week I got to try out The Produce Box , a locally owned Raleigh business that delivers boxes of fresh produce along with other select local items like meats, cheeses, and much more. The Produce Box releases a menu on Fridays with what's currently in season and available and you can specify what you would like delivered or you can choose one of their prepacked boxes. Once you order, the box is delivered to your doorstep weekly! Ordering/Pricing: There are several types of boxes to choose from that generally feed 3-4 people.
