Shopping Sustainably at FiFi's Consignment Boutique in Cameron Village + 7 great FALL finds!

There's never been a better time to shop for clothing + accessories, secondhand. More and more we understand how important it is to reuse and recycle and shop sustainably for quality items. Shopping curated local consignment boutiques are a great (and fun!) way to find gorgeous, unique, quality clothing and accessories. Fifi's Consignment of Cameron Village is a standout consignment store in Raleigh, carrying seasonal designer and name-brand apparel and accessories, including handbags, jewelry, shoes, scarfs and much more!

Pre-owned clothing and accessories are not only attractive to customers because of the price, but also because of the sustainability. By choosing to shop consignment you help reduce the demand for "fast-fashion" which translates to saving water and materials used in the production process, and reducing tons of waste that comes from the process of manufacturing clothes. Shopping consignment and secondhand clothing reduces business for companies who may also be guilty of poor working conditions and failing to support worker's rights.

Located conveniently in Cameron Village, Fifi's is a fun place to shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. New merchandise is arriving every day! They accept seasonal items year-round, no appointment is necessary. Not only is the selection fantastic at Fifi's, it's also really well organized and easy to shop.

When items are not sold, they are donated to local charities, putting those items back into the Raleigh community to support women's shelters, and other charities like Dress for Success, avoiding ending up in our landfills.

Fifi's is thoughtful about what they accept, taking quality reputable name brands versus fast trendy fashion brands. Secondhand shopping is trending up especially with younger shoppers today (it's the way my teenagers almost always shop!) and it's expected to continue to be a fast growing market.

There's nothing better than walking out of the store with something that's "new to you" purchased at a bargain price that can add a little spark to your Fall wardrobe, and knowing you've also helped the planet, one purse or pair of shoes at a time.
