The Fresh Market Gets A Refresh

If you've been in Cameron Village the last few months you probably saw all the construction activity around The Fresh Market. They have been busy "refreshing" all their area stores including the store at Cameron Village. Not only were there changes made in the layout and design of the store, you will now find an increased selection of local products, and new sections in the store including health, mind & body, household items, pet, and baby food and items. AND you will see lower prices throughout the store. Updated signage now clearly designates departments, dietary restrictions or food allergies, highlights organic products and inspires shoppers to explore new tastes. Over 4000 new items in the store! Overall the Cameron Village store is brighter, airy and feels much bigger with the new renovations. You can now do a more complete shop without having to stop other places for pet, household items, etc.

Currently, there are also many great holiday items available in the store. I took a bunch of items home with me to cook, gift and enjoy with holiday guests. There are so many grab and go delicious items for gifting friends, family, teachers, secret santas...anyone on your list! Everything from poinsettias, vintage candy, traditional desserts and cookies, holiday wine, coffee, specialty and hard to get items as well.

The Grand Re-Opening includes some fun events happening tomorrow at the Cameron Village store so stop by and enjoy a whole new shopping experience at The Fresh Market!

#CVTRENDREPORT:
I'm excited to partner with Cameron Village over the next few months to feature some of the great merchants in the Village and highlight some 2016 Fall + Winter Trends and great "hidden gems". I love shopping local and it's been an amazing opportunity to get to know these merchants, their stories and their passion for what they do!

  3. I'm really sad about it to be honest--the atmosphere that defined fresh market is gone. now it just feels like a regular grocery store. i'd rather go to harris teeter at this point.

    1. It still has a great produce section and the deli/meat/seafood/bakery is pretty much in the same location, just brighter space. And the store includes other items that you had to go somewhere else to get which is convenient. I totally hear what you are saying, it was unique. I'm happy about lower prices! ;-)
