Cameron Village Spotlight: Kannon's Women's Clothing

100 years. That's a very long time in the retail business and a statement few businesses can make these days. Kannon's Clothing store originally opened in Wendell in 1916 by Isaac George Kannon and this year they celebrate 100 years in the business of fine clothing for men and women. 2016 also brought Kannon's Women's Store to Cameron Village this past March.

The new store is spacious, bright and airy and you can find clothing for women of all ages and for all types of events. Whether you are looking for resort wear, sportswear or preparing for a formal wedding or important social event, Kannon's Clothing prides themselves on top notch customer service, a wide variety of high quality apparel and helping you dress for any occasion from head-to-toe.

Many of the sales staff have been with the business for years and have worked with generations of customers. They know their customers well and spend time with them making sure they find the right fit and the right look. Superior customer service is their reputation. The move to Cameron Village allows them to be in a location alongside other sophisticated boutique shopping. It allows for new customers to discover them in Raleigh and their Wendell customers have been happy to come see them in their new location, as well as customers from all around North Carolina. They are also close to the Kannon's Men's Store also located in Cameron Village.

Be sure to visit their beautiful store soon for your next special occasion and wish them a happy 100!

#CVTRENDREPORT: I'm excited to partner with Cameron Village over the next few months to feature some of the great merchants in the Village and highlight some 2016 Summer Trends and great "hidden gems". I love shopping local and it's been an amazing opportunity to get to know these merchants, their stories and their passion for what they do!

Thanks also to NC Photographer Glory Rose for assisting with photography.
