Headed Out of Town this Weekend? 6 Versatile Items to Pack for your Getaway!

Headed to the North Carolina beaches this Summer? A weekend trip to the NC Mountains to escape? The weather looks hot and sunny this weekend! Luckily in Raleigh we are close enough for short trips to the mountains or the ocean for a weekend away from the city. For such a quick trip, it's nice to pack light. Here are six great versatile pieces to make packing easy and can be worn for different occasions over your getaway. Enjoy your time away, wherever it might be.

01. A stunning tunic top that can be worn with shorts or white pants and perfect for a relaxing casual lunch or fancy cocktails.

02. Light weight big rimmed hat and a dress that doubles as a swimsuit coverup.

03. Navy and white stripes are fresh and this matching set works nicely worn together, or separately for lunch at the cafes, a day of shopping or dinner out.

04. Pack your accessories and/or personal items in one small bag and bring along a small light-weight super soft and absorbent robe for relaxing after the beach, spa, or take it to the pool.

#CVTRENDREPORT:

I'm excited to partner with Cameron Village over the next few months to feature some of the great merchants in the Village and highlight some 2016 Spring/Summer Trends and great "hidden gems". I love shopping local and it's been an amazing opportunity to get to know these merchants, their stories and their passion for what they do!

Thanks also to NC Photographer Glory Rose for assisting with photography.
