Free! Indy Week's New Guide to Dining

What's the old expression, "Good things come in small packages"? I found a little gem on a rainy day at Whole Foods North Raleigh yesterday while I was enjoying a quick cappuccino and perusing the free magazine racks in the front. It was The Independent Weekly's new "Eats" guide. I am always drawn to good packaging and this one stood out from all the rest. The Indy's Guide to dining out covers Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill with  pretty equal billing for all three. Did I mention it was free?

Making great use of beautiful photos, the "Eats" guide covers everything from breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night places to try.  Helpful lists of specialty restaurants from vegan eating, food truck offerings, coffee sipping or craft beer drinking...its in there! The guide includes local farmer's market locations in the area to how to help feed the hungry...lots of great useful information well presented. I especially love the size of the guide. The smaller size makes it easy to fit into a bag or the side panel of my car door. Great to have when we need a new place to check out. Well done, Indy Week! Look for it now in Whole Foods, Starbucks and anywhere else you find the Independent Weekly.
