Wearin' O' the Green in Raleigh

So Raleigh what's up for St. Patrick's Day?? March 17th, 2012 looks great with warm weather and the holiday falling on a Saturday! Take the day off. Enjoy some of the fun things going on around Raleigh. Here's a few of them:

Raleigh Downtown Parade and Festival - Parade starts at noon and Moore Square gets started at 10:00am to 9:00pm with lots of food, beverages, and entertainment for the whole family.

World of Beer is hosting a block party starting at noon in North Hills. This is their first annual St Patrick's day block party and it is also kid friendly with a bouncy house and cotton candy machine.

The Hibernian on Glenwood will open their block party up at 1pm.

Tir na nOg will host an Irish breakfast starting at 9am and live music all day long. Napper Tandy's on North West Street is hosting live music from 11am - 2am!

Marbles Kids Museum will have St Patrick's day themed crafts and games like Leprechaun Freeze Dancing and all things green!
